Pennywise, the dancing clown, is creeping back into theaters in the reboot of the Stephan King Classic “IT”!
Derby, Maine is like any other small town in America. Kids hang out in clicks, people pick on the nerdy ones and call them losers and the town bully spends all his time beating on the weakest ones. Derby does lead the nation on mysterious child disappearances.
Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Lieberher) suffers from a stutter when he speaks, so he and his friends are labeled “losers” by the kids at school. Bill in bed sick on a rainy day, but was still able to make his little brother Georgie (Jackson Robert Scott) a paper sailboat that he can sail down the street in the puddles. Georgie is unable to keep up with the boat that sails down the sewer. As Georgie peers down looking for the boat he sees a red balloon held by a clown who also has his boat.
Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) the dancing clown lives in the sewer and bites Georgie’s arm off and drags him in the sewer leaving only a puddle of blood. Other children around Derby begin to go missing. Bill won’t stop looking for his little brother and with the assistance of his friends Ritchie (Finn Wolfhard), Eddie (Jack Dylan Grazer) and Stanley (Wyatt Oleff) continue to search the sewers in hopes of finding a clue.
