The Conjuring’s Nun comes to the Big Screen to give audiences their “Final” vows!!!

The Nun is the latest episode in the Conjuring series of films that chronicle the paranormal events researched by Ed and Lorraine Warren. In the Conjuring 2 the portrait of “The Nun” was seen and Lorraine had a vision of the demonic relic. This new film, “The Nun” by director Corin Hardy and writer James Wan explains the history of the sister and how this creature in a habit came to be.

A convent in Romania where two nuns uncover a spirit and act to avoid unleashing a terrible evil on the world. One of the sisters hung herself to avoid becoming possessed by the evil spirit. The hanging body of the nun outside the convent was discovered by a local delivery man who brings groceries to the sisters. Frenchy (Bloquet)cuts down the nun and puts her in the ice house and returns to the village to report it.

 

The Vatican dispatches Father Burke (Bichir), a well-respected member of the clergy and experienced exorcist, along with a young nun who was about to take her final vows. The two arrive in Romania and are taken to the convent by Frenchy and shown the corpse. Frenchy explains to them that the body has moved? Father Burke searches the records of the convent and is question by the mysterious Mother Superior who tell Burke and sister Irene (Farmiga) they can talk to the remaining sisters in the morning and can stay in the convent.

Liam Neeson has a $100k if he can track down a person on a crowded commuter train!

Michael MacCauley walked away from his job as a Chicago detective to sell insurance and enjoy life with his wife and sons. On the same day they took out a second mortgage on their house so their son can go to Syracuse University, MacCauley is fired from his job.

Michael meets an old police buddy Alex Murphy for beers. MacCauley explains his unemployment, no savings and that he has not told his wife, Murphy tells him to catch his train and go home and tell his wife.

Michael runs to met his commuter train and as he boards he is pick pocketed and loses his cell phone. Michael sits down in a front car and begins to read a book when a strange woman named Joanna sits down in front of him and begins to ask him Hypothetical questions. Joanna next tells MacCauley that she knows he was a detective and it should be easy for him to find the one person on the train that doesn’t belong (not a daily commuter) and tag them with a GPS tracker then he gets $100,000.

Wilson and Farmiga return as Ed and Lorraine Warren to battle a demonic presence across the pond in “The Conjuring 2.”

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren, sharing with us the case they investigated immediately following the events in Amityville that the press referred to as “England’s Amityville” but we call it “The Conjuring 2.” Ed and Lorraine were asked by the church to hold a séance in the Amityville house where the Lutz family was terrorize. Lorraine saw the murders of the DeFeo family by Ronald DeFeo and then was face to face with a demon dressed as a nun that showed her the death of her husband Ed. The events of Amityville rattle Lorraine, add the press tour with the Warrens constantly having to defend themselves against the accusations of being hoaxes was exhausting to her. Lorraine asked Ed to stop exorcising demonic spirits before it ends up killing them. Ed agreed and then presented Lorraine with a painting that he had done with the same demonic nun on it that Lorraine saw in Amityville. Lorraine again is visited by the being and sees Ed dead again.
